TJMC is the marching band for Thomas Jefferson HSST. In recent years, the band has done very well in local competitions, as well as in competitions in farther away venues, such as in competitions in New York City in the '03 and '05 season.
Rehearsals
During the summer, TJMC goes to Orkney Springs for a week of band camp (check the August calendar for specific dates). During the fall, rehearsals are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Staff
The Marching Colonials are led by a combination of student staff (Drum Majors, Section/Assistant Section Leaders) and adult staff. Student staff are appointed by the band director with assistance from various students on the TJ Band Council.
